OUR
BuSINESS
TAIMATSU Co., Ltd. is promoting efforts to make use of traditional Japanese crafts in modern life. We deliver craftsmanship to people around the world through brand building that creates new value, global partnerships, and sustainable activities. Furthermore, by strengthening digital platforms and collaborating with overseas companies, we aim for a future where Japanese crafts will spread in a form that is easier to pick up and friendly, and will be passed on to the next generation.
Our Brands
MUSASHI JAPAN is not just a knife brand, but a brand that serves as a bridge connecting traditional Japanese craftsmanship to modern life. Up to now, we have delivered products to over 166 countries, and that experience has brought deeper value to customers as people's memories.
Yokai Japan is a brand inspired by the idea unique to Japan where spirits dwell in every tool and thing we “see,” “touch,” and “feel” in our everyday lives. It began with an experience that conveyed the depth of taste as a Japanese sake bar, and now it is also being developed as a perfume and incense brand.
FUJI Japan is a brand for people seeking value beyond tourism. Combining exploration with inner discipline, we create a deep immersive experience surrounded by “movement, learning, and quiet concentration” through sharpening and calligraphy, and provide a moment to face Japan.

ECO MISSION
Our “sustainability efforts” are based on tradition and a spirit of innovation. When delivering products to customers around the world, we select fuels that reduce CO₂ emissions from air transport by 30% compared to conventional ones. Also, as one of our innovative initiatives, we have developed a “Tsushima Marine Knife,” which reuses plastic derived from marine debris washed ashore in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture. Thoughts on recycling resources and reducing environmental impact are incorporated into this knife, which combines traditional techniques with new materials to solve modern environmental issues. Going forward, we will continue to innovate while preserving Japanese traditions, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through efforts to meet future issues.
