The Journey Here
What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
I've long been interested in HR and was seeking an environment where I could enter the field without prior experience. TAIMATSU stood out because it offered a mid-career opportunity even for those without previous experience, which led me to decide to join. Another factor was that in my previous role, I often had the chance to work with international colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and I found working in such a diverse environment very rewarding.
Life at Taimatsu
What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?

What's striking is the frequent opportunity to interact with people from a surprisingly diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds. As a member of the HR department, I naturally have many chances to speak with foreign nationals during interviews. But what I find truly fascinating is learning about each individual's journey to Japan, their life plans, and the values that shape them, which are often quite different from my own.

What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
Communication Skills.
Working in HR, I've had the opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. This experience has truly highlighted for me that everyone possesses unique values and perspectives. Consequently, I've adopted the mindset that differences are natural. Even when I can't personally empathize, I've learned to communicate effectively by demonstrating understanding for the other person's point of view.
Beyond the Role
What experience are you most proud of?

It's when a work visa application is successfully approved, and I receive words of gratitude like 'It's all thanks to you' from the applicant.
If You're Thinking of Joining
What message would you like to share with people considering joining the company?

With new initiatives and challenges constantly emerging, we believe this is a highly stimulating environment for those who enjoy embracing change. We encourage you to fearlessly take on new challenges, enjoy your personal growth, and explore a variety of opportunities.

About you
Could you tell us about your background and where you are from?
Born in Tokyo. After graduating from university, I joined a travel agency specializing in overseas travel. However, the COVID-19 pandemic hit a year later, prompting me to change jobs and begin my second career in Malaysia. I worked there as a QA (Quality Assurance Manager) for three years before returning to Japan. Subsequently, I joined the HR department at TAIMATSU.
Outside the work
What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and do you have any favorite places you often visit?

I like spicy food, kickboxing, and games. My favorite country is Thailand.
