What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
When I studied abroad in Canada, I realized there was a high demand from overseas for the quality of Japanese products and unique Japanese culture. This experience sparked my interest in a career that delivers Japanese products to international markets. After returning to Japan, I sought out companies involved in such business and discovered TAIMATSU. I applied because the job description allowed me to leverage my previous experience in general affairs and accounting.

What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?
From the moment I joined, I was particularly struck by the company's rapid growth. The pace of store expansion was incredibly fast, and as a back-office team member, I had the valuable opportunity to help establish the organizational foundation during this transitional period, including the implementation of a labor management system.
Day to day
What does a typical day look like for you?
09:00
I’m starting the day by reviewing accounting schedules and checking for updates from HR and internal teams.
11:00
Later on, I’m processing payroll-related tasks and carefully reviewing payslips for employees across the company.
13:00
Around 1 oclock I’m having my lunch break.
15:00
After my break, I’ll handle accounting documentation and respond to internal requests related to payroll and administrative procedures.
16:30
Double-check payroll data to ensure all records are accurate and properly organized.
18:00
At the end of the day, I will finalize the accounting tasks and prepare reports and documents for the following day.
What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
After one year at this company, and with frequent opportunities to interact with employee information in my daily tasks, I feel I've gained a deep understanding of the company as a whole. Furthermore, by leveraging the knowledge gained from TAIMATSU and my previous experience, I feel I have developed confidence in performing my duties and the ability to make sound judgments.

What experience are you most proud of?
I am proud to have been solely responsible for payroll operations since joining the company, and to have consistently approached this work with a strong sense of responsibility.

Born in Kagawa Prefecture, I studied abroad in Toronto, Canada for two years after graduating from Kansai Gaidai University and gaining 10 years of professional experience.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and do you have any favorite places you often visit?
I like games, anime, travel, and shopping.
