What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
My international marriage led to more opportunities to interact with people from overseas. Through daily communication, I realized that Japanese culture, traditions, and craftsmanship are loved by people all over the world, far more than I, as a Japanese person, had ever imagined, and this made me incredibly happy.
On the other hand, despite Japan possessing so many wonderful charms, I also feel that its true value and background have not yet been fully conveyed to the world.
TAIMATSU is a company dedicated to sharing Japan's appeal with the world, redefining traditional crafts for the modern era, and passing them on to future generations.
My strong resonance with this philosophy, coupled with my desire to further advance my career in marketing, led me to start working at TAIMATSU.

What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?
I've been impressed by how many people at TAIMATSU approach their work professionally with a strong sense of ownership. Regardless of age, even our younger members demonstrate incredible enthusiasm and high skill levels, and their dedication has been truly inspiring. What particularly struck me was the sense that 'this is a company where many people genuinely enjoy what they do.'
Day to day
What does a typical day look like for you?

After arriving at the office, I review the marketing data and check the previous day's results and key metrics.

Participate in meetings with internal members and partner companies to discuss ongoing projects and new initiatives.

Lunch break

After lunch, we brainstorm new marketing strategies and campaigns and create proposals and reports, and we hold meetings with internal stakeholders and other departments to share project progress and challenges.

Update reports and complete various tasks.

What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
My involvement in both online and offline marketing means I deal with a wide range of data and diverse areas. I also frequently make decisions that incorporate not only quantitative data but also qualitative insights, such as customer reactions and experiences. This environment has significantly developed my broad perspective and multi-faceted marketing skills, both of which are crucial for business growth.
Beyond the Role
What experience are you most proud of?
I reorganized the advertising campaign to further boost sales at MUSASHI JAPAN stores. Despite having only recently joined the company, I was able to quickly implement these initiatives thanks to the support of my colleagues. Subsequently, we observed improvements in store sales, and I am pleased that these measures led to concrete results.

Could you tell us about your background and where you are from?
I am from Fukushima Prefecture. In my previous role, I was involved in marketing, management, and new business development at a company that operated a web advertising agency and media business.

Interests: Movies, games, manga, anime, coffee, chocolate, beer. Favorite Places: Shinbashi DRY-DOCK: They have excellent beer.
