The Journey Here
What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
I decided to join the company because I was deeply attracted to its culture, which encourages challenges regardless of age or experience, and its commitment to growth through embracing change. I was also drawn to the opportunity to leverage my English language and communication skills to contribute to recruitment and organizational development from a global perspective.
Through my experience in hotel customer service and new employee training, I realized that the quality of service is profoundly influenced by the people delivering it. I learned, in particular, that the presence of individuals supporting the front lines directly impacts organizational growth. This realization, combined with a strong desire to "support people's growth," became the catalyst for me to pursue a career in HR.
Life at Taimatsu
What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?

A particularly memorable experience was being entrusted with recruitment interviews just a few months after joining the company. While the significant responsibility made me nervous, the encouragement to 'go for it' gave me a huge boost in confidence. Another experience that left a strong impression was being given sole responsibility for public relations. As I planned and managed the content independently, I truly experienced the joy of working with significant autonomy.

What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
HR is a role that involves interacting with people from various positions, including not only job seekers but also team members and management. Through this, I feel I've developed the ability to understand each individual's values and perspectives, and to tailor my communication accordingly. Furthermore, precisely because it's such a fast-paced environment, my ability to think independently and act proactively has also been significantly honed.
Beyond the Role
What experience are you most proud of?

I am solely responsible for public relations tasks. Furthermore, I find it incredibly rewarding to have been given the opportunity to engage in a wide range of responsibilities—not just recruitment, but also labor affairs, general affairs, and public relations—within a short period, allowing me to learn about HR from multiple perspectives.
If You're Thinking of Joining

It offers an environment where you can tackle new things regardless of age or experience, and the opportunity for rapid personal growth based on your own efforts is a significant appeal. For those who enjoy interacting with people and want to grow while embracing change, I'm confident you'll find this a highly rewarding environment. Let's work together to create new value.

About you
Could you tell us about your background and where you are from?
I am from Chiba Prefecture. Upon graduating, I was responsible for public relations at Tokyo Skytree, where I interacted with numerous customers and media professionals, cultivating my communication and outreach skills. Subsequently, I worked as a hotel staff member at a Disney official hotel. In addition to customer service, I was also in charge of new employee training. This experience strengthened my desire to work in a role that supports people's growth, leading me to pursue a career in human resources. Currently, leveraging my past experience and hospitality background, I am involved in recruitment and organizational development.
Outside the work
What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and do you have any favorite places you often visit?

On my days off, I unwind by cooking and window shopping. I also enjoy relaxing at home while watching videos. Ikebukuro is a place I often visit. It offers a variety of spots to enjoy, from shopping to cafe hopping, depending on my mood, making it a place I naturally gravitate towards.
