What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
What initially drew me to TAIMATSU was the highly appealing nature of the work itself. As it was a newly established department, still in its early stages, I saw it as an environment where I could take the initiative to learn a wide range of tasks and gain extensive experience. Furthermore, the company's youthful and vibrant atmosphere, coupled with its continuous growth, strongly resonated with me, leading to my decision to join.
Life at Taimatsu
What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?
The most memorable experience in my accounting career was the realization that 'financial issues are constantly emerging, even in small, inconspicuous areas.' Accounting isn't merely about entering figures; it demands an attention to detail that extends to much finer points than one might imagine. What remains deeply etched in my memory is the importance of accurately grasping the overall situation, independently gathering necessary information, and then performing appropriate accounting processes, along with the heavy sense of responsibility I learned from this.
What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
The most significant growth I've experienced is that my perspective has broadened, enabling me to constantly be aware of my surroundings and act accordingly. Previously, I focused solely on completing my own tasks. Now, however, I make an effort to observe the movements of the entire team and other departments, and this broader awareness has become a consistent part of my approach. As an accountant, developing the mindset to understand the overall flow of the company, rather than just the figures on my desk, is something I consider a major personal achievement.
Beyond the Role
What experience are you most proud of?
I identified a minor flaw in our existing process and successfully rectified it. While reviewing routine tasks that had long been taken for granted, I uncovered a very subtle issue and implemented a correction. Even though it was a small detail, I found immense satisfaction in personally ensuring its accuracy and elevating the overall quality of our operations.

About you
Could you tell us about your background and where you are from?
I am from China. After graduating from university, I came to Japan and, following my studies at a Japanese language school, I joined a Japanese IT company. After gaining five years of experience in the IT industry, I decided to pursue my true career aspiration (accounting) and joined my current company as an accountant. Starting in an unfamiliar role and a new environment has certainly presented its challenges, but I am committed to working diligently every day to make progress, one step at a time.
Outside the work
What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and do you have any favorite places you often visit?
I love spending time in nature, and on my days off, I often go camping in the mountains, by rivers, or by the sea. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immersing myself in rich natural surroundings refreshes both my mind and body, giving me energy for the new week. The time I spend visiting various places to find my favorite campsites is the most therapeutic for me.
