The Journey Here
What motivated you to start working at TAIMATSU?
I was drawn to TAIMATSU because of its bold and modern approach to showcasing Japanese culture. What's more, I find it to be an incredibly fast-paced and innovative environment, offering a fantastic opportunity to learn a great deal from my knowledgeable colleagues.
Life at Taimatsu
What is the most memorable experience you have had in this job?

More than any single experience, the first few months after joining the company left the strongest impression on me. I made many mistakes and often felt anxious during that period. However, by openly consulting with my colleagues and receiving constructive feedback, I was able to view these setbacks positively as learning experiences, rather than getting discouraged.

What Surprised Me
In what ways do you feel you have grown the most through your work?
The biggest growth I've experienced through my work is the ability to return to basics and build a solid professional foundation. I've become more inquisitive in my analysis and more meticulous in preparing reports. I also feel I've gained the flexibility to embrace failures and challenges.
Beyond the Role
What experience are you most proud of?

I've had the opportunity to take on new projects and reports. These experiences have helped me develop the ability to think beyond existing frameworks and devise my own solutions. I also consider tasks such as creating simple data reports and modifying dashboards to be valuable experiences, as they allow me to reflect on my efforts.
If You're Thinking of Joining
What message would you like to share with people considering joining the company?

TAIMATSU is a company unlike any other in Japan. It provides an environment where you can learn a great deal and grow, thanks to its internationally diverse employees and challenging corporate culture.

About you
Could you tell us about your background and where you are from?
I am from the Philippines, born and raised in Cebu, but I also lived in the United States during my childhood. After that, I came to Japan to study International Business at Sophia University.
Outside the work
What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and do you have any favorite places you often visit?

Outside of work, I like to hit the gym (even though we have one at the office). I find it's a time when I can focus on myself and feel completely refreshed. I also enjoy collecting perfumes, and I often pop into a "NOSE SHOP" whenever I spot one.
